Known errors and solutions

If nothing starts at all, first go through preparing your PC: most cases end there.

Windows protection, antiviruses and anticheats#

Windows Defender or an antivirus is enabled#

The most popular issue. Turn Windows Defender off completely and remove other antivirus software — how exactly is described in preparing your PC.

wdfilter needs to be removed#

Download and use dControl, password sordum.

Reputation-based protection is on#

Open the START menu, type "Reputation-based Protection", open that window and disable all options.

Core isolation and Secure Boot are on#

Click "Start", type "Core Isolation" and disable all options in the opened window. Secure Boot has to be disabled in the BIOS as well.

Conflicting anticheats#

Installed FaceIt and Riot Vanguard anticheats may interfere with the software. Remove them via "Add/Remove Programs".

System and connection#

Outdated components#

Update the Visual C++ libraries (download) and DirectX (download).

Wrong system time#

Open the "Settings" app (Windows + I), go to "Time & Language" and in the "Synchronize your clock" section click "Sync".

Virtualization is disabled#

The software requires virtualization and Hyper-V to be enabled. Activate these features in your system if they are off.

Connection issues#

Sometimes the software does not run because it cannot reach the servers. Try running the loader with a VPN enabled.

Injection and the game#

Injection or gameplay issues#

If the injection fails or something goes wrong in game (ESP lags and the like), switch the screen mode to "Borderless / Windowed / Windowed Fullscreen" in the game settings.

ESP is displayed incorrectly#

Set screen scaling to 100% in display settings and set the same resolution in game settings.

Black screen in Path of Exile#

Optimizations for windowed games have to be off in Windows 11. System-wide:

  1. Win + I → System → Display → Graphics.
  2. Click Change default graphics settings.
  3. Toggle off Optimizations for windowed games.
  4. Restart the game or the PC.

Or for one game only:

  1. Right-click the game's .exe file → Properties.
  2. Compatibility tab → click Change settings for all users (optional).
  3. Check Disable fullscreen optimizations.
  4. Click Apply → OK.

Nothing helped#

Go to the "Device Information" tab in the loader, take a screenshot and attach it when contacting technical support — it will speed up resolving your issue.
