Vengeance runs Fortnite and PUBG from one loader, and the loader does most of the work: it downloads the build, starts the game itself and hands the menu to the Discord overlay. The overlay setup is mandatory, so it stands here before the launch and not after it.
Preparing the system#
- A clean, unmodified Windows installation is recommended. Avoid custom and heavily optimized builds.
- Turn the antivirus off before the launch. If that is not enough, uninstall it for the time being.
- Remove third-party anticheats: Faceit Anti-Cheat, Riot Vanguard and anything of that kind.
Display mode#
The game has to run either in Fullscreen Windowed / Borderless or in Windowed mode.
On NVIDIA cards open NVIDIA Control Panel → Adjust desktop size and position and make sure Fullscreen is selected.
Discord overlay#
Set the overlay up before you start the loader. Without it the product does not work correctly.
- Launch Discord as administrator.
- Open User Settings and go to Game Overlay.
- Turn Enable overlay on.
- Turn Enable legacy overlay off.
Start the game and look for the line "The overlay is currently being applied to this game." — that means the overlay took.
If it hangs on "The overlay is initializing…", turn on Use compatibility mode in the same settings.
Compatibility mode trims part of the overlay functionality, but it fixes the overlay taking or losing focus.
Running the loader#
Keep the order.
- Download the loader and run
loader.exe. - Enter the license key you received after the purchase.
- Wait for the download to finish.
- Do not touch anything: the game starts on its own through the program.
- In the main menu press F4 to activate the product.
- Give it about a minute to initialize.
- Press Right Shift to open the menu.
Models render in the wrong place#
Resolution is the usual cause. Lower the in-game resolution and check again; if nothing changes, reset the resolution to the game's default.
Connection errors#
SSL Connect Error, Curl Error, Host Error and Synchronization Time come from the provider blocking the connection to the developer's server.
- Open Windows Settings.
- Go to Time & language → Date & time.
- Click Sync now.
- Start the product again.
