Setup and launch

Ancient runs every game from one loader, and the launch order is the same everywhere. Two things differ: which overlay your game needs and whether fullscreen mode works in it — both are in the table below. The order of the steps is fixed: the overlay has to be running before the loader starts, and the game starts after the injection.

Before you start#

• A key for the product
• The loader: undetect.net/download/loader
• An antivirus you are able to turn off
• An overlay — which one depends on the game

One exception — Ancient Radar for Arena Breakout: Infinite: this product needs no overlay and skips steps 1 and 2. The regular Ancient cheat for the same game needs one like everything else.

Step 1. Install the overlay#

Install only the overlay the table names for your game. Where it names two, either one will do.

SteelSeries GG#

Download: steelseries.com/gg/download

1. Install the app and open it.
2. Go to Settings → General → General and enable Sonar.
3. Go to Sonar → Shortcuts.
4. Set a bind for Master → Volume Up — the F7 key, for example.

Do not press the bind yet: its place is step 2.

Discord#

Download: discord.com/download

1. Install Discord and sign in.
2. Open User Settings — the gear next to your avatar at the bottom left — and go to Game Overlay.
3. Turn Enable Overlay on.
4. In the same section turn Enable Legacy Overlay off — this is required.
5. Check that the overlay is not disabled for your game in particular: Discord can switch it off game by game.

Medal#

1. Install the app.
2. Turn the overlay on in it: Settings → Overlay → Enable Overlay → On.

Step 2. Start the overlay#

1. Start the overlay and leave it running — it has to be up before the loader starts.
2. SteelSeries GG only: press the bind from step 1, F7 in the example above.

The bind is pressed before the injection. With Sonar inactive the loader stops with "Please launch SteelSeries Sonar overlay".

Step 3. Run the loader and inject#

1. Turn the antivirus off.
2. Run the loader.
3. Enter the key.
4. Press inject.

The loader closes on its own — that is the sign the injection went through.

Step 4. Start the game and open the menu#

1. Start the game. In Delta Force, Apex Legends, ARC Raiders and Wardogs do not turn fullscreen mode on.
2. Escape From Tarkov only: press F1 once at the game's main menu, then carry on as in every other game.
3. Press Insert — the menu opens.
