Hajin: an exclusion zone where squads hunt each other

DMZ drops squads of three into Hajin, an exclusion zone on the Korean peninsula with a leaking nuclear power plant. In Infinity Ward's design PvP comes first, with PvE layered on top: North Korean patrols, a tank, the Colossus. Radiation pushes everyone off the map, and a run lasts from about fifteen minutes with an early helicopter exfil to forty-plus for the last one. That shapes what software is for here:

  • rival squads are the main threat, so player ESP and a radar come first;
  • AI patrols and bosses decide your route, and seeing them through walls saves a fight you did not need;
  • loot is the reason to deploy, and an item filter beats a list of everything on the map;
  • at the exfil, knowing who is already waiting is worth more than any aim setting.

A lost run costs gear, not just time

When an Operator dies in DMZ, he goes Missing In Action. Recovery at the Forward Operating Base costs DMZ Cash, the price grows with the Traits you have invested, and he comes back without his gear. One death takes more from you than a lost round of 6v6.

The mode is not new to the series, which sets a search trap: "MW2 DMZ cheats" refers to the 2022 version. Builds for that client do not run in Modern Warfare 4.

RICOCHET does not send what you should not see

RICOCHET pairs a kernel-level driver on PC with server-side checks, and with Modern Warfare 4 Activision added server culling: when the server decides you should not see an opponent, it stops sending you his position. Activision confirmed that this covers DMZ, and Infinity Ward added extra occlusion layers to every launch map for it. Playing on PC also requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.

Two things follow for the buyer. An ESP draws only what reaches your PC, so a squad deep inside a building may appear on it later than you expect. And a Secure Boot warning at launch is the game's own requirement, which shows up on a clean system too.

From visuals to a full menu

Builds for DMZ differ by how much of the run they take over:

  1. Visuals. Players and AI through walls, with distance.
  2. Visuals with loot and a radar. Item ESP with filters and enemy positions on a minimap.
  3. Full menu. An aimbot with field of view, smoothing and bone choice, recoil control and world options.

The mode came out with the game in October 2026, so builds change with every client patch.

Questions that come up most

Is DMZ a separate game? No. It is a mode inside Modern Warfare 4, so you need the game itself.

Will software for the old DMZ from Modern Warfare II work? No. The client is different, and builds for it do not run here.

Will it run on PS5, Xbox or Switch 2? No. These are Windows programs, and only the PC version of the game runs them.

What happens after a game patch? The build has to be updated for the new client. Check the status on the cheat card before you deploy.
