What software changes in survival and what it does not
There is no competition here. There is a long road between points, and the value of software is measured not in enemies killed but in time and supplies saved.
What follows for the menus:
- zombie ESP works for avoidance: a crowd is visible through a wall and the route goes around;
- items with distance answer the second survival question — is that house worth entering;
- lighting removes the night, which changes the game more than it sounds: night trips stop being a separate risk;
- extra speed goes into travel rather than into firefights.
Speed costs more than it looks
The road between the base and the town takes minutes of real time, and it is the dullest part of the loop. Extra speed halves it.
The downside is its own. In co-op the desync with a partner shows immediately, and zombies react to movement: speed left on for a whole session gathers a crowd where you walked quietly.
The game is co-op, and the host sets the rules
There is no kernel-level anti-cheat here: the game is built for solo play and small dedicated servers holding a couple of dozen people. Nobody is watching except the people you play with.
One practical thing follows. The question is not whether an anti-cheat catches you but how your partners take it: a sped-up character and instantly located loot are visible to them without any checks.
What comes inside
The niche is narrow, and menus here are short:
- Visuals only. Zombies, players, items and distances.
- Visuals with speed. Movement speed and lighting join in.
- Full menus. Character, supplies and world sections.
The choice here is about the pace of your own game. There is simply no opponent to beat unfairly.
Questions that come up most
Does the game have an anti-cheat? Not a kernel-level one. It is built for solo and co-op play on your own servers.
Why put ESP on zombies? For avoidance. Walking around a crowd costs less than shooting through it.
Is extra speed risky in co-op? Visible, certainly. Partners see the desync and zombies walk towards movement.
Does an update break the software? Yes, as everywhere: a patch moves memory structures and the build needs an update.
