People move faster here than they aim

A squad breaks the distance in seconds: jump towers, slides, abilities made for leaving. You shoot at a target that will be behind a rock in a moment, which is why aim assistance is useless here until it is tuned for speed.

What follows for the menus:

  • ESP has to cover the squad rather than one player, because a downed enemy gets picked up;
  • a loot filter by tier beats highlighting everything, since armour decides more than a gun;
  • distance and height say more about a position than a silhouette: third parties come from above;
  • the aim field of view is tuned around sliding, or the crosshair trails the target too openly.

The third party always arrives

A fight between two squads is heard across half the map, and the rest walk towards the noise. Knowing that another team is close decides whether you finish the knock or leave, and that is the most common reason a fight is lost.

So ESP here is not valued for helping in the shooting. It answers how much time you have before the third party turns up.

Kernel driver on the client, analysis on the servers

The game runs Easy Anti-Cheat at kernel level, while Respawn keeps its own server side and watches for anomalies in movement and ability use. Ban waves here are regular and large.

How seriously the publisher takes it shows in a decision from 2024: Linux and Steam Deck support was dropped because of cheaters, with the explanation that an open system cannot hold them back. Windows is the only place left to play.

From visuals to a full menu

The range in this niche is wide, and the choice is not made by counting features:

  1. Visuals only. Squad ESP, loot and distances, with your aim left alone.
  2. Visuals with an aimbot. Aim with field of view, smoothing and target selection.
  3. Full menus. Recoil work, world sections and configs join that.

The price at the top is not only money. Hard aim stands out most in a game built on movement: the crosshair stops behaving the way hands behave.

Questions that come up most

Does this work on the Steam Deck or Linux? No. The game stopped running there in 2024, and cheating is the stated reason.

Why is an aimbot more visible here than in other shooters? Because of the speed. Targets change direction constantly, and smooth tracking looks unnatural.

Why bother with a loot filter? For armour and the right calibre. Highlighting everything at the drop fills the screen and gets in the way.

Why did the build stop launching after a patch? The update moved memory structures. Wait for the developer to ship a build.
